Permit expediting service for residential building permits in Montgomery County, MD.

I'll mark up up your drawings with all the zoning, code, technical and design items you need to know to get your drawings approved.

Then I'll file the permit application for you, submit the drawings to the County and communicate with you and the Department of Permitting Services to make the permitting process as smooth as possible for you.

What's included?

First, a Plan Review

Every page of your drawing set marked up with specific instructions for putting together your permit set, including

• Zoning analysis for your property and required information to pass Zoning review
• 2021 IECC compliance and recent Montgomery County energy efficiency code changes
• Clarity and constructability of the drawings
• General design principles and plan functionality
• Additional Drawing and Document Requirements for Montgomery County DPS
• Notice of any Secondary Permits required (drainage, sediment control, right-of-way restoration and more) and guidance on how to complete them

and then Permit Filing on your behalf, including

• Permit application completion
• Drawing submission to the County
• Communication with the County on your behalf and communication with you explaining any permit comments you receive.

What is NOT Included?

• Me doing the drawings for you or editing the drawings you have
• Me stamping the drawings for you
• Beam sizing or other structural calculations
• Site visits
• Permit filing fees, permit fees, bonds or other fees or taxes levied by the County.

You need to know how to do these things. I'll make getting your permit in Montgomery County go faster and with fewer surprises.

If my markup says you need to draw a typical wall section and you don't know what a section is, then this is not a good service for you to purchase.
